We are currently able to load the ABLR with really no issues. Been pretty handloader friendly.
How are you seating the bullet for the 142s? What powder do you use? Hoping to get a better idea of seating depth. Possibly may switch to H1000 pending the next couple of range sessions.

We load them in our 280AIs and girlfriends 6.5CM the same way.

-Use a OAL gauge for the chamber.
-My notes have .050 off the lands is where we start for AB
- Both our 280AI like .077 to .079 for the ABLR

In the 280 AI we use H4831SC and 7828SSC
In the 6.5 CM we use Win Staball 6.5

Those are my three shots from my Alaska moose. One heart, 2 neck, 3 neck. I was solidly in my analysis way under min range for the 175 ABLR. Hence weight retention was was below what it should have been as it fragged apart. Shots were 17 yards, 35, 40 yards. All recovered off side hide.

They seem to have held up well given the short shot distances. What cartridge were you shooting?

Those look good. They did exactly what they are designed to do.
