NW corner/ Cody WY winter kill?

I’m strongly considering cashing in 15 points in one of the Northwest units of Wyoming this year. Should I be legitimately concerned about die off as a result of last winter? I know it was real bad south of there but my understanding is that it wasn’t as bad around Cody. Am I right or wrong? I don’t want to make a bad choice using up this many points. Thanks.

I don't believe that area had anything out of the ordinary last year. All age classes should be present.

I personally saw over 250 elk in two herds in ONE of the areas near Cody back in November. I was on BLM for a cow hunt.
