long time lurker here that normally shoots elk with a lever action.

Been looking for a lightweight "mountain" rifle for awhile for an upcoming Wyoming elk hunt this fall. After shooting a 6.5 PRC I have chosen that caliber. I looked at Christensen Arms, Nosler, Tikka, Kimber, Seekins, Springfield, Browning, and Bergara.

After a lot of research and looking at weight, MOA guarantees, reading reviews (good and bad) about complaints, customer service issues, the "best" barrel length and everything else I could find I purchased a limited run Bergara Canyon with a floorplate. Looking for a suppressor for it and hoping to gain some insight here. So far I am impressed with everything I am hearing about the 6.5 PRC. My shots will be 500 yards max.

First I have to make sure the Canyon shoots. I am hoping it will shoot the Hornady 143 ELDX satisfactorily.
