We’re pleased to announce Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever are joining our Report a Land Access Opportunity Initiative. Combined, these organizations have secured and restored access to more than 203,000 acres of public lands nationwide so we're excited to work together to improve access across the country! The Report a Land Access Opportunity allows hunters to submit opportunities to improve access to public lands and waters. Sportsmen and women can submit locations meeting any of the following criteria:
• Properties currently for sale that could secure a new public access route to public lands
• Public land parcels that have no legal access routes
• Gates or roadblocks restricting travel to public lands
• Public waters that are difficult or impossible to reach
• Places where the public is trespassing when trying to reach public land
Once submitted, a dedicated team from onX and their conservation partners will vet the opportunities. onX will then pursue those opportunities that prove to be the most advantageous to hunters, fisherman, and other outdoor recreationists. Know of an area? Click HERE to submit yours.
In addition to this partnership, we've agreed to provide $15k to Pheasants Forever’s Build A Wildlife Area program. onX’s donation will be matched at a minimum of $3:$1. The funds have been allocated towards the securement of a new 281-acre River Wildlife Area in Tama County, Iowa.
We're looking forward to continue to improve access and provide more opportunities for people to get out and enjoy the tradition of hunting that we all cherish!
