I have been using a Phone Skope with Athlon Cronus. I’m getting amazing photos and videos with the eye relief all the way down. I did notice at about 55 zoom and on it starts shadowing quite a bit.

Here are the two photos with 55 zoom and 60. You can see the shadowing on the top of the tree trunk.

I wanted to see if anyone else has this issue and if this is normal? The eye relief rotates and does not lock so I either have to have it all the way down or all the way up.

Thanks!

I've experienced it, and sometimes much worse than that. Sometimes I just need to mess with it a bit to fix the shadowing effect, but I usually get it worked out. Also, for whatever reason, sometimes if I go to video mode I'll get better quality. If I want a still photo, I just stop the video, take a screen shot, and then crop it.

Got it thanks for the feedback! What spotter are you using? I agree that adjusting it helps. Also I do not need the 60X really but it is fun to zoom in that far.
