What do all of you use your phoneskope or skopedvision for? Hunting? Shooting? Training? or something else? Lets see how some of you are using your Phoneskope products!

I use mine for pretty much all of the above. The last several seasons I’ve been using mine to video kill shots and it has come in very handy. Three years ago I was on a solo goat hunt, and had set up on a billy at about 150 yards, and set up the phoneskope to video the shot. I took a shot, and totally missed. Apparently, when I had gotten flown into the area, the elevation turret on my scope had been inadvertently turned. I have no idea where my bullet hit because the recoil didn’t allow me to visualize bullet impact. I couldn’t do anything but wait until I had an opportunity to view the video footage. After watching the footage I could clearly see that I was about a foot above my target, so I quickly adjusted my scope down 10” to 12” and went after him. I eventually got another opportunity, and was able to take him. Had I not been filming it, I probably would’ve never been able to get this goat, as I would have had to set up a target and re-site my rifle. Also, it’s nice to be able to get super close video footage/photos of potentially legal animals, like sheep, and then enlarge the images on my phone to determine whether or not they are legal.
Here’s a few photos that I’ve taken on hunts. Some of of these are screen shots from video footage.

This is kind of cool. Here is a series of still photos take from the video footage, using an iPhone 7 Plus, Phoneskope, and Swarovski HD 80mm at 147 yards. The first picture is right before taking the shot, second is of the bullet impacting the rocks on the other side of the goat (I was aiming for a neck/spine shot to anchor him, and if you look really close, you can see the hair split on the top his neck, as the bullet passed through), and third pic is him looking over his shoulder at where the bullet hit.
