After seeing this thing around I decided to finally buy one because it looked like it flowed fast and would be awesome and it weighs nothing. When I got it home I decided to test it out and see how it worked before I took it to Idaho with me.
This is the slowest pos filter I have ever seen. And it wasn’t until after I bought it that I read all of the negative reviews about defective slow filters.
So what are you guys all running for water filters because I can’t see myself taking a chance on another one of these

Sawyer squeeze works well. Not any of the mini or micro sizes, the flow is too slow

Have you tried backflushing it really well to get all of the filaments really soaked?

The katadyne be free is the best I've ever tried. I've had and used multiple msr filters Sawyer squeeze in all the sizes katadyne pro hiker and a couple others I can't remember the names of. It's the easiest I've handled weighs nothing and doesn't take up much space.

I ended up soaking it for a couple of hours and that seemed to fix it!

Good deal. I've had that same trouble with sawyers as well. I always soak and backflush them a bunch before a trip.
