Primos Trail came and iPhone

Ran into some issues with these.

14 MP Primos trail cams will not allow me to see the images on my iPhone card reader. Just a generic file picture.

Called customer service and try it said that particular camera was not compatible with Apple devices/iPhone.

I thought this was odd. Anyone else have any experience with this? Any way around it with an iPhone to check at the camera other than a dedicated card reader? I would prefer to continue using my phone.

Update for reference.
I used the same camera and card reader with an Android device (Samsung) and it worked. We were able to see the pictures. Apparently just an iPhone thing.
