Free bump questions:
Does Proof always put barrel information on the section that would need to be threaded? Do you have to re-mark it once it's installed?

Only me 2nd Proof barrel but my first one had the info in the same place. Once they are installed by the gunsmith I'd cerakote right over it and you'd never know its there. No need to re-mark although most custom rifles I've seen will have the caliber and maker engraved in that is still visible after cerakote.

That part of the barrel (tenon) gets threaded.
