question on zess v4 capped windage

Looking to get a v4 4-16 but with the reticle I want they dont seem to offer the exposed windage turret. For those that have the capped windage, do you use it for dialing wind or just holdover. With the capped windage the turret seems quite small. Curious on peoples thoughts. Thanks

I have 2 with the capped windage. And I wouldn't have it any other way. I dont dail for wind though
I dial for elevation, hold for wind.

Both my v4's are capped with moa marks for holds. I have not taken hunting shots over 500
