I don’t mind spending the money on a tool that works, but I’m always looking for a bargain.
The switch barrel rifle I’m putting together needs a dedicated action wrench to go along with the works so this caught my eye on eBay, and at that price I expected something on the rough side, but hoped it would at least be fixable with a little elbow grease. We’ll, it’s turned out to be very well made and finished. It’s parkerized and the machining is quite good. I ran some 1000 grit sandpaper over it to take off any hidden burs and soften the edges, but probably didn’t have to.
Two thumbs up.
(As others have said, this style is not for taking off heavily torqued factory barrels.)
