WTS Rifles for sale—

I have 2 nice rifles for sale:
1- REM 700 243 win. This is a 1989 production. A great little rifle in excellent condition with an amazing trigger. 22” barrel. A great composite stock, much better than factory ones today. Comes with 2 sets of dies and a couple hundred bullets for loading. $625 plus shipping. This rifle really hasn’t been used a whole lot.

2-REM 700 CDL stainless Fluted 270 win.
This rifle is in great condition, less than 50 rounds through it, it does have some hunting bumps, Such a not so bright kid strapping it on a 4 wheeler for hunting. Put in dump gun racks and bounced a round a bit. Still great though. Just some wear on the wood stock.
$900 plus shipping. Scope not included.

Whats wrong with the .243 stock? Did you sand it to give it texture?

I've done nothing to the stock, it's a remington stock, kinda funky looking, but very solid. not exactly sure why it's that way. Just they way it's always been.

It looks like a factory rynite or maybe an arylon stock. Remington did a few oddballs back then but still way better than the tupperware ones.

I agree, it’s much better than my newer Remington synthetic, It's the ARYLON Stock.

That synthetic stock was made by Six Enterprises for Remington and also sold directly by Six. Good solid stocks. Stiff and reasonable weight.
