anybody try this out? Looks like you can pick your inner and outer layers, and what weight Apex continuous insulation you want. And stitch the quilt together yourself. Im wondering just how easy it is.

I haven't seen there kit, but making a synthetic insulation quilt is pretty darn easy. It's a great project for someone with no sewing experience because it's pretty hard to mess it up. When you're done you'll be ready to move on to your own stuff sacks and the next thing you know you're making your own tents. Making your own gear is quicksand.

Ah ha! maybe that's why I am dragging my feet on this project!:)
