Been looking around for a couple months for one new with zero luck, suppose it's time to see if I can snag one used. Looking for the COMPACT, this will be for a new youth hunter in Ohio where straight walled cartridges are legal.

This one has the right product code. Might be the best chance. I have been looking for a Ruger Ranch forever it seems as well, but just in a .223/5.56

I don't know if they ship or not, but Fleet Farm in Waite Park, MN had one in stock last week. Worth a shot.

I have a 350 Legend and it is a fun cartridge to shoot and reload, minimal recoil as well.

I bought my daughters an American Ranch rifle in 5.56 last year and shortened the stock for them. Worked out really well. If you can find a full size in that chambering, I'd jump on it. Turning it into a compact is no big deal.
