Ruger SR1911 10mm

Hello I have purchased a Ruger 1911 in 10mm and wanted to know what would be the max grain weight for bullets anyone would recommend putting through it.

I’m thinking of using Underwood 200 grain Hard Cast Flat Nose bullets but wasn’t for sure if they were to much for it

Any insight would be appreciated thanks

Don't have a 10mm so can't comment on your grain question. But if you are concerned you can always upgrade your spring to help. Been looking into doing that with my .45 and getting some Buffalo bore ammo

Yeah the only concern really was the barrel lug (I believe) is what it’s call on the bottom of the barrel cracking I heard it happening on the Springfield 1911 but they were using 220 grain or more with +p
