Rugged Ridge bipod question

I just got this bipod and it says you can unscrew the claw feet. I cranked on it pretty hard and they are not coming off. Does anyone have one of these bipods where they have removed the feet? I'm pretty sure it's the Gen 2 here's a picture of it.

I have the Gen 1 version. But was easy to add those type of screw in feet and the extension legs

I got them undone. Dang things had lock tight on them.
