A stove is of little use when sleeping. The heat goes out of a tipi style tent very quickly so you must stoke it and keep adding wood to continue to have heat. For me I think we would have slept fine in either tent. This was a flyout hunt on Kodiak though so if you have the option its always good to have a backup tent. The stove wouldn't be the reason I'd sleep in one over the other. But for hanging out during hours we couldn't hunt (which are long in November here in Alaska with daylight being so short that time of year) a tent with a stove sure makes things a LOT nicer. Hope that helps.
