Howdy, Looking for some advice on a new rifle. Planning on getting a rifle chambered in 7 PRC that I will use for elk hunting here in Colorado as well as wanting to do some long distance target shooting. I plan on using a suppressor in the future so the shorter 22" barrel on the bergara is tempting. They both weigh the same, seekins is slightly more expensive but within my budget still.

I was also looking at the bergara HMR carbon wilderness, would be better for target shooting im guessing but is about a pound heavier. Id also be open to other suggestions, however I am really leaning towards these two (mainly the b14 squared). Thanks!

Did you end up making a decision here? One thing to consider is the PH2 you can send to Seekins and swap the barrel with a 22" from the Element. However, it does cost $550 from what I've heard. I'm facing the same dilemma myself right now. A friend of a friend has the 6.5 PRC squared crest and can fit 3 shots behind a dime at 100 yards. I really want a 7 PRC but haven't heard feedback from anyone on how they perform so far since they're a little newer.
