Recently got back from an amazing time in Alaska. I won the hunt through the Wild Sheep Foundation and their Less Than One Club. I can't thank the people involved and the sponsors enough for the opportunity I got.
We saw a lot of sheep during the hunt and looked at nearly 50 different rams, none of which we could make legal, so I went home without a ram. I can't explain how amazing it was to just experience Alaska, and in the end, it really doesn't bother me that I didn't get a ram. These pictures probably won't do the scenery or the hunt justice, but maybe some of you will enjoy them nonetheless.
On the plane from Fairbanks to base camp.
At the main base camp.
Next day my guide and I headed out to hunt for a few days. We were spotting sheep that evening from camp, the hunt was on!
