So I am going on my first mule deer rifle hunt in Montana this year and I am debating on getting new gear. I currently use UA or other synthetic base layers and all my camo is heavy and intended for midwest archery hunting. What are everyone's thoughts on this package and the value vs other brands?

My hunt this year is end of October and first week on November and we are hunting on the south side of the Fort Peck. Would the Elk Bundle be a better option than the mule deer bundle?

The difference in the bundles is one has a vest and the other has the heavier 300 mernio bottoms.
I lean towards the hardscrabble vest and extra core warmth. If you plan to be stationary for long periods of time i think you'll need a puffy as well depending on temperature.

So I ended up going with the Elk bundle and adding an additional set of base layers. My package arrived yesterday and everything fits perfect. I typical wear a medium/large and I went with Large for everything and the fit is perfect.
