Anyone have a recommendation for good, quiet waterproof snow camo? I'm looking for something that's not insulated, since I just want a layer to put on over the top of my current clothing. Seems like the options are cotton pillow cases or heavily insulated coveralls - not good for spot and stalk.

Natural Gear Snow Camo.

Be very careful here as some are UV illuminated especially the fleece product. The NatGear is not, Predator cotton is not, most of the Realtree with the tan leaves are not. You can get a small keychain UV light and check them. I once had a Browning snow fleece top and could not figure out how deer were freaking to me when motionless in a deadfall until I discovered I was glowing like a light buld. The Vertigo pattern actually makes good snow camo and most are UV neutral.

Thanks for all of the great info, folks.

Stid2677, is that Nat Gear too bulky for spot and stalk archery? I'm leaning towards that, but I haven't been able to get my hands on a parka. I'm 5'11" 160, and the large insulated pants seemed too big when I held them up.

Yea, probably so. I think they make a non insulated one that is just like a shirt, I believe I have one stuck somewhere, but the one in this photo would be too bulky for too much walking around and bow hunting IMHO.

I use the Nat Gear light cotton and pants and have no problems at all. I have had deer at 10 feet not know I am there and I am in the open. In fact, with whites on I seldom hide in cover and prefer to be in the open.

Nat Gear for this guy too, Spent a week in em.
