Hey guys,

Does any one have experience with this lens?

Looking at picking up a kind of do it all lens for my Sony A6000. I have the 14-55 kit lens,55-210 kit lens and the Rokinon 12mm wide angle already. The Rokinon has been a great lens for me and it satisfies my wide angle needs for now. the 14-55 is a good lens for family outings or my fishing adventures paired with the 12mm.

However, I want to upgrade for sure the 55-210. It will go along with the other lenses but probably be attached while hunting 90% of the time. I would like to spend give or take around $1000. Was looking at the 70-300 before the 70-350 came out and seems to be the better option.

Any input is appreciated.

Both the 70-300 and the 70-350 are excellent lenses. The 70-300 has 4 aspherical elements vs only 1 on the 70-350 and the 70-300 has the nano coatings on the optics which will give you much better colors

Are those the major differences...I know the 350 is set up a little different as far as selections on the lens goes, but is there a large performance difference in focusing or any other real negatives with one over the other?

I've watched some reviews and it seems almost like a straight swap besides what you mention.

If you plan on making pictures 11x14 or larger you will start to see a difference, or if you crop you images on smaller prints you will also see a difference

Thanks...Sounds like for the little difference in price the 300mm is the way to go.

Of course we will give you a special Rokslide price

Give me a call
Received the lens and filter just in time to take it out this past weekend. Played around with it for a bit and love it so far. Hope to have a couple pictures to post shortly.

THANKS for the great service!
