Got the .284 Win bug out of my system I guess. I bought this barrel a few months ago from X-Caliber and it shoots extremely well. 1/2-3/4 MOA routinely with 150-grain GMX and ELD-X. 139 LRX's shot around 3/4-1" but I only had a few powders to try. I am NOT selling because this barrel won't shoot. It is absolutely a shooter. I've put 90 rounds through the tube and it's been consistently under an inch with every combo I tried. I'm just in a simplifying mode right now.

X-Caliber stainless 22" straight .284 Winchester chambering with 1:9 twist. Fits Savage small shank and other actions like the Bighorn, etc. Barrel weighs 2 lbs. 5 oz. and is considered X-Caliber's "featherweight" contour.

Using a Savage short action (that has a 3.00" box) you can load to 2.95" and kiss the lands with 150 ELD-X's

I will include 100 pc. of Peterson brass. Approx. 90 have one firing on them. There are 30 ready to load but you'll probably want to resize those since I pulled the bullets out of them.

I'm also including the Lee dies and shell holder+trimming die (unused).

Barrel cost me $360 shipped. Brass was $120 and the dies another $40 for a total of $520

I'll take $325 shipped for everything.

Skip the 12-week waiting period that I went through and build your .284 Win mountain rifle now! :D

I had a few questions so here's an update -

Barrel is .563" at the muzzle. Recessed target crown.

I forgot I do have a No-Go gauge for .284 Win (you can use a sized case for the "Go" gauge). I'll throw that in for another $25.

So everything, including the No-Go gauge, for $350 shipped.
