I posted a question regarding the use of a Murphy Ti rail on my Weatherby .340, replacing the Talley rings on there now. Is there any advantage of the Ti over the stainless other than weight?? I am replacing the Talleys due to it being a "weak link" in the system, and I want to replace it with the strongest rail possible. Is stainless a better choice for strength over the Ti ? Not worried about the cost, I want strongest.
