Stone Glacier Water Bladder in Kifaru Pack(s)

For anyone wondering if they can use the Stone Glacier hydro sleeve with Kifaru packs, I have attached some photos of what I did for reference.

The hydro sleeve comes with plain 3/4" straps. Since it did not come with a latching system, I was able to take some cheap snap buttons from Walmart and add them as shown in order to loop the straps through the chamber pocket loops (this is a woodsman pack). I'm sure something similar can be done with ladder locks or another mechanism.

Note that there is enough room in the loops to still use the chamber pocket if you want along with the hydro sleeve.

Nice work getting it to fit! I quit using water bladders though and started using hardside hydration. It will work with any back pack.

I like the snap idea. I ran the webbing on the hydro bladder through the slide locks on the chamber pocket. Also works well.

Great idea! I’ve been thinking about doing something similar. Is the hydro sleeve waterproof? Just wondering if the bladder leaks if the sleeve will hold the water up to the zipper or if it’ll just soak through into the pack.
