Swaro EL 8.5 vs 12 eye relief

Can any eye glass wearers tell me how the eye relief in the 8.5x42 (20mm ER) compares to the 12x50 (19mm ER). I’ve read a couple reviews saying the 12x50 ER measurements aren’t par with the others and ER suffers comparingly.

I’m looking at purchasing the 12x50 but I can’t find any locally to test out, I did test some 8.5x42 EL and 10x50 WB SLC (17mm ER) and they were both great.

I dumped 12x50 Leupold Santiam HD due to eye relief. It was advertised 16mm and wasn’t even close to working for me.

Compared the 10x42 and 12x50el today, 10x42 has better eye relief. Imagine a 10x50 would hit the sweet spot. Anyone with glasses that’s considering the 12x50 EL might want to consider another option.
