WTS/WTT T/C w/ early s/n in .223 w/ Burris

I have an early s/n T/C rifle with .223 barrel and Burris scope that is very clear.
I got this on a trade and never shot it... it looks great has a few scratches but overall really nice little rifle.
Trigger is glass at about 1.5 no creep .. really nice trigger.

Barrel Length is 21" - would make a great RS Special 223 deer killing machine with lighter bullets though... likely a 12" twist rate.

per this link the rifle ( or carbine as t/c enthusiasts say...) was made in 72 https://www.gunandgame.com/threads/thompson-contender-manufacture-dates.164099/

This barrel appears to be fitted to this receiver from the factory, it opens very easily but has a nice snap shut. Some of the early receivers were hard to open and barrel was in a bind with the receiver, not this one.
