I guess you could also use them in your 223 Rem with 8 twist, being it is the standard twist these days. The 69 eld-vt is. Why do you think you can't use that in a 22 creed?

So you think because a recommended twist is not listed, that you can't shoot it in a 7? I mean that's possible, but with no evidence in either direction, that's not a conclusion I'd make.Hornady does not recommend a 7 twist on their 62& 69 VLD VT bullets. I just checked their site. They have no recommendation at all.
Lot of talk of rechambering the tikka 22-250 to 22 cm. Anyone running it as a 22-250?Got a 1-7.7 twist 224 Bartlein barrel on the way… it’s replacing a 1-12 twist 22-250 on a R700. Will be for deer, etc. I’ve got 22-250 Lapua brass and dies. Is it worth the cost to bump up to 22 Creed or stick with 22-250 and save a few hundred bucks?

Yes. No issues. Used 75 eldm last year on 10 deer and loved it. This year trying 77 tmk and I expect I’ll go back as damage might be more meat loss than needed. 88’s didn’t shoot as well for me on paper and I never shot any animals with them.Lot of talk of rechambering the tikka 22-250 to 22 cm. Thanks! What is your barrel length and velo?Yes. No issues. Used 75 eldm last year on 10 deer and loved it. This year trying 77 tmk and I expect I’ll go back as damage might be more meat loss than needed. 88’s didn’t shoot as well for me on paper and I never shot any animals with them.

Congrats on a great shot!Another data point for the 22 Creed and 88’s. 311 yards, broadside through both lungs (albeit a tough high - didn’t range him, just pasted crosshairs and swung through) as he trotted through a cut block. Almost went down but kept on his feet for another 20 seconds and covered 30 yards. No exit, broken rib on entry, both lungs completely gellied.

Anyone thats been playing with rifles very long pretty much could have told you an 8 twist will stabilize a 69 grain bullet. The question was did it take a 7 twist. On the box of the 69 eldvt and the 62 eldvt its says 1-8 twist rate

I would like to know how that suppressor is attached to that barrel?

Not quite THAT great, I had a pretty good rest over a stump that let me swing through him.Congrats on a great shot!
I can only imagine: Off hand, over 300 yds, swinging through like a shotgun!!
What was the impact velocity at that distance? Did you ever find the bullet? Not quite THAT great, I had a pretty good rest over a stump that let me swing through him.
It’s not. I was just getting a feel for OAL, which is why I noted not so clearly that I’m waiting for my adapter from US to thread it on properly.I would like to know how that suppressor is attached to that barrel?
I didn't say it needed a 7 twist. This is a long thread, you would have to read it all to make since of whats going on with the stupid twist business. If they required a 7” twist, then the box would say TWIST RATE 1-7”
