I've been told that burning a candle will help reduce the condensation inside the tent? Anyone try this?
It seems that the old UCO candle lanterns would be good at this.

Sounds plausible, the tiny bit of heat produced by the candle would/could reduce the moisture in the air, depending on the total volume of course. Not sure a single candle would do much in say, a 10x14 tent.

Tried this a few times about 10 years ago when I switched to a solo single wall tent (Tarptent). Result = no dice

The physics didn't work out for heat generation or reduction of condensation in my experience. I came to pit more emphasis on venting to reduce condensation. I feel like it would have taken a lot of candles for my solo shelter, which was a tiny space.
