Vivo forest tracker esc durability

The tundras look great and sound great, but I'm kinda wondering if they'd be worth the price tag for me. I don't think I see enough low activity days in sub 10F temps for them to be worth it.... Yet. Hopefully that changes in the next year or so

Probably not.

I do a bunch of true cold weather hunting and shooting, and in deep snow. Combined with my foot issues, I needed something like them. Before the Tundras, I often hiked in with normal shoes but carried the Mukluks to swap to when glassing.

I got completely ghosted by Vivo CS after submitting a warranty request and pictures. So they have that going for them.
Good luck getting ahold of them. I've had the sole tear on multiple tracker ATs with very low miles. Sometimes they respond sometimes it's just crickets.

They gave me a shipping notification for my Desert variants. Tracking showed “label created”. Sat like that for 3 weeks.

I finally emailed customer service. They cancelled my order with no email back or anything. No “sorry please reorder here” or anything.

Guess I won’t be trying those boots out 🤷‍♂️

That's weird. And now the US site doesn't list the men's version at all but badges the women's as a 'limited edition'.

The UK / rest of the world site still lists a few sizes in men's but only smaller and larger ones.

Will be worth keeping an eye on!

Are there any issues with vivos if you have a thumb width of space between your big toe and the front of the shoe? The next size down for me is too tight on my pinkie toes/side of the foot. I am assuming no since barefoot shoes do not have a flex point like a normal sole, but the rather the entire sole is flexible.

My Jim green barefoots are shorter for the same size as Vivos.

I have the ESCs that are maybe a half thumb width from the end after wet dry shrinkage, so far it hasn't bothered my that my toes are touching the end when packing, I feel very nimble in these. Also have a pair of deserts that started off with a more than generous thumb width from the end, but have shrunk to a little less than thumb width and fit fine. The deserts will likely be worn with thicker socks or reg socks plus gortex socks.

I haven't had any issues. The next size down was a little on the short end so figured better with too long than short.

I bought a pair of the Tracker textile AT to use in heavy rain and used them last weekend for a day and a half. It rained non stop and they worked great. I got a buck on day 2 and day 3 the sun came out and I couldn’t wait to get them off of my feet because of how sweaty my feet got. The membrane is nice when it’s raining but otherwise membrane boots are awful. I’ve been wearing the tracker esc for 3 years now and love them, but my feet get very wet in heavy rain and really wet grass.

I don’t expect to wear the textile AT more than a few days per year and I’ll wear my leather tracker esc for everything else.
