Vortex Razor HD LHT 4.5-22x50 vs Leica Amplus 6 3-18x44

I am looking at these 2 scopes to put on my 6.5-300 weatherby. Any personal experiences between these 2 scopes? Not a lot out there on the Leica or comparison between the 2.

If it were me, I would do the following if those are the two you're currently considering:

1. Remove the Vortex from consideration. It exhibited a spectacular failure under not-very-extreme bumps. Read all about it here -

2. Add the Trijicon Tenmile to your list for consideration. Similar category of scope, but it actually works (holds zero through whatever bumps and bruises it's likely to receive, dials correctly, etc).
