WA freezer filler

Drew a WA second deer tag, antlerless only, season opened Aug 1. Went to the unit this weekend and had my tag filled in about 5 minutes. Pistol is a S&W Mod 657 Classic Hunter, 41 Mag. Not much better eating game meat than a mid-summer blacktail.

Consider me jealous. I drew an antlerless tag for OR unit 19, but nonetheless the season doesn’t open until 10/7, same as the general season.

This was a pretty easy draw, the only one I got this year. And yep, it’s delicious, we had tenderloin tonight for dinner.

Thanks! The unit has weapons restrictions so it was fun to get the 41 out and about.

Thanks! No holster, just carry in my hand, like a really short rifle.
