Looking around for a solid waist pack that will hold a platypus style water bladder. 1.5L or so. Maybe a few pockets for snacks but nothing for the a super long day. Mostly will be worn along with my bird or fishing vest.

let me know Of any recommended models you’ve used.
Thx

I’ve owned one of most of the Mountainsmith varieties. They’ve all been superb. They don’t have explicit provisions for hydration but it works fine. You’ll find you probably need a longer tube.

My mountainsmith day has a bladder pocket. I would think a longer tube would be needed as was mentioned above.

Thanks for the responses. I ordered a Mountainsmith Drift - by looks it’s pretty much exactly what I am looking for; not too big, room for a platypus (i use a 1L usually), compressible, room for snacks, etc.
