What kind of skinning knife do you use and why?

Outdoor Edge 3.5", I've started carrying one of the 5" blades as well.
I don't use
Fixed Because I suck at sharpening
Scalpal blades because they are two weak for my style of skinning. I don't use a saw, I just use the knife to pop the joints including the head and legs as well as remove the lower jaw of elk.

After going back through and reading the replies, I probably would consider the scalpal blade type on sheep hunt or maybe even a mule deer hunt that I want to get weight to a minimum.

Seems like a lot of you guys are carrying a few extra ounces in the knife department.

Helps when they can double as a hammer. I've carried a Buck 110 for 45 yrs.
Keep one on me, extra in truck, Suburban, and kitchen.
Lady friend wanted her own and now has 2, one in kitchen and one in purse.

One evening in Key West I knocked a pervert out cold with the heavy copper end of a 110.
Hopefully he learned to keep his hands off 13 yr old boys, but I doubt it.
