Which bore sight

I have a lesser priced bore sight kit that was gifted me many years ago. It gets me on paper at 100 yards most of the time but not always. What are y’all using?

Eyeball plus a single shot at 50 yards will get you on paper at 100 yds every time

That's exactly what I do, hits paper every time. Repeat the bore sight process a couple times before firing the 1st shot and success will be had.

My father had a straight tube scope that fit in the chamber, it had fixed crosshairs. I'm thinking circa 50's. That worked great, just look through it center the crosshairs on target and adjust the turrets done. I wish I could locate one today.

You couldn’t get me to take the time to use one of those bore sighters. Pulling the bolt and looking through the barrel is so quick and effective, I feel like they’re just a gimmick.
