Who hunts with +- 400 grain arrows?

.... Bow has a basic paper tune.

To my amazement, they all flew nearly identical to field points at 50 yards! In the past I’ve always had the toughest time getting any fixed heads to fly this well, let alone 3 different ones. But in fairness, it may be this new longer ATA bow with the RX-1 grip on it.

You do know you can get the same good flight results with a heavier arrow right?
Its all tuning. Paper tuning with FP's is only 1/2 way tuned.

It seems you happened on to a tuned bow with that 400-ish gr setup. Plus, a short head will show less wobble over a longer head- all else equal.

Plenty of elk over the years have died to a 400gr arrow with a little tiny BH.
