This is the

0.67 oz Dyneema® Composite Fabric CT1E.08/K.18

formerly referred to as Cuben fabric.

If you have owned a shelter or worked with this stuff;

can it be glued or taped without stitching…and do those joints hold up under high tension?

How long will this stuff go without delaminating?

Its not that much lighter than Silpoly…but that 20d silpoly is a biotch to manage And sew.

Never built a shelter. But, it doesn’t breathe. Pain to cut. The membrane will fail before it delaminates. Once the membrane is punctured only a patch will repair watertight.

Can be taped and glued but it is very technical.

I wouldn’t build a shelter out of it.
