Comments from a BCS-2 owner.

Originally, I ordered a 1st generation BCS from Seek Outside. Was heartbroken that it got lost in the mail, only receiving the pole and stakes in the damaged PKG. The folks at SO promptly sent me the BCS-2 as a replacement. This shelter has two doors similar to a LBO.. I don't have the option to unzip the front half, but have never felt I missed this feature. I later picked up a used SO nest on Rokslide at a good price point. My stove of choice is the Ti-Goat Wi-Fi. This equipment has been reliable, sturdy, and has lived up to my expectations. Condensation was bad once while camping in Louisiana. Never a problem in the dryer humidity of the West.
At this price point you could do a whole lot worse. If you travel with a dog, have a young child or a petite partner that you enjoy being near, you should be golden. Or if you just need extra room solo it is a great combination of lightweight comfort. If you got stranded in bad weather, with a stove and a ample supply of wood, you will be glad you went this route over a tarp, or most any 2-man backpack floored tent.

You can thin some silicone with mineral spirits to treat that stove jack and it'll be fine for another decade. It will take a few days to flash off the smell....but it'll be fine once it does.
