I applied in 4 states last year and they did me well. I also like their articles. That said, I don’t just go off of their info and use local info to compare

Not a bad approach. I think they are correct most of the time but I do know of some guys who ran into issues trusting them exclusively. Your approach of using the data and then verifying is the way to go imo.
