took my 10 yr old out today. weirdest day ive ever had in over 30 years of turkey huntin. not a single gobble in the morning when we used to hear 15 or more different gobblers routinely. not a single gobble. moved up a loggin road and got one to answer me one time, when he came in he had a couple buddies with him, all struttin, got to 40 yards and my son moved his head, just a little but enuf, took care of that. we had a good chance but its pretty boring when you only hear about 5 total gobbles all morning.
