I have a Zeiss Diascope 85 T* FL (angled eyepiece) along with the Zeiss Quick Camera Adapter. Depending on my hunt or hike, I’ll take the adapter with me when weight is less of a concern. I use a small point-n-shoot camera in that case.
I’m curious what point and shoot cameras others may be using for digiscoping with good success. I have a small older Nikon now with telescoping lens. It’s workable but often very finicky to get the “fine tune” necessary for reasonable photos without excessive vignetting, aberration, etc, due to less-than-precise control over the lens motor to find the sweet spot for mating with spotter eyepiece.
I’m considering a point and shoot with fixed lens (or internal telescoping) like the W300, for example. But curious what others may have had succes with, too, as I want to stick with point and shoot for the time being.
