I got mine installed and it's nice, can definitely see it when looking through the reticle and not taking my eye off the target but i'll bet scope position is key. It's also blurry when looking through the scope but you can still make out the bubble.
Looking through the scope:

How many rounds down the tube does your rifle have? I think that's part of why mine was slow, chrono'd the ELDX at around 50 rounds down mine. Going to retest again at 200 rounds.

Shots fired!
All kidding aside I'm curious what you mean by open up at 500 yards? Range shouldn't have anything to do with accuracy potential of the rifle, the thin barrel getting warm and throwing rounds would be obvious at 100yds. Maybe you mean because you may have to dial a few more...
Have you chronographed the factory stuff out of your rifle? I was disappointed to see mine doing mid 2650 out of a x-bolt with a 22" barrel. For hunting it'd prefer to see closer to 2800fps with my Creed, think I can get there with reloading and 130gr bullets.

TC did you get the illuminated LRHS - aka LRHSi? I have one of those on back order through experticity, looking forward to that scope.
I have a SWFA 3-9 HD on my 300BLK, really bright glass to my eyes.
