Hello all,
My work just brought in a collection of items from an estate including a 2005 Swaro ATS 80 Spotting Scope with a 20-60 eyepiece and a cover. The scope body says HD on it, but I'm not too well versed in the older Swaro products. We have to put a value on it to make an offer to the...
Sorry for the late response. Yes, I did get a pro. Got an even better deal then I expected which made it a million times better of a deal then buying a tikka and having everything I want done to it. I still love the tikka and will buy one at some point, but this Pro is amazing.
I’m considering it. We have a 300 WSM that’s been on backorder for over a year. We have a 300 win mag Xbolt Pro sitting in the shop for about 6 months. Tempted to snag both lol
Hey everyone, I've been kicking back and forth the idea of getting a new rifle. I've essentially decided upon a couple different options.
1. Browning X-Bolt Hell's Canyon Speed in .300 WSM or .300 Win Mag
2. Browning X-Bolt Pro .300 WSM or .300 Win Mag
3. Tikka T3x in .300 WSM or .300 Win Mag...
Just picked up some Swarovski optics, a couple pairs of Binos and the atx system (got all 3 of the objectives, couldn’t decide which to get). If you guys could point me to an awesome tripod head for these optics that would be greatly appreciated. I have the medium compact outdoorsman legs so I...
I appreciate everyone's insights and opinions. This was a really tough choice, but your wisdom and knowledge really helped me out. I ended up getting 10x42 EL's (non-range), 15x56 SLC's, ATX 85. I still have the ability to pick up the 65 and 95 modules at an excellent price (which I am really...
After reading everyone’s advice it seems like this would be a great setup up. I just thought that 10x42 would be a perfect medium between the two. But I will definitely look further into this option.
This is enticing now. I didn’t think of it this way. I just figured I could cut down on weight...
Haha yeah. Don't get me wrong, there is plenty to love about this state. Unfortunately though, it is negated by a variety of factors. It's only a matter of time before I leave.
Yeah, at one point I was looking into buying some Vortex optics, but figured with the amount I was going to spend I might as well step up to Swarovski. Doesn't hurt that I've been promoted twice over and have gobs of overtime saved up as well.
No, I would not be carrying all three at once. I'm in the industry so I am able to get Swaro essentially at a steal (can't disclose pricing unfortunately). I just got back from SHOT show and Swaro blew me out of the water with their optics, even when compared to Leica and Zeiss (both excellent...
This is my main issue. Currently, I've been hunting one area in California, but plan to hunt other areas when I leave the state for good. I have no preference of trophy vs meat, either options are perfectly fine for me as they both serve as a form of hunting in the end. Animals would primarily...
