Anyone going to the shoot this weekend 4/7&8/2018 just outside of Farragut state park??
Wouldn't mind hooking up and shooting with someone on Sunday! Can only shoot Sunday

Well, this summer has kicked my ass with remodeling at the house and the loss of a family member, didn't have much of a chance to contact any of you and put any boots on the ground.
I have taken the last week of September off and gotten a tag for the Pioneer Zone which is where I was last year...
You know I recently purchased a new Dell Laptop and I have been researching this subject. A lot of the guys are using the Adobe products on windows. I downloaded the free version of Adobe Premier, I don't have a lot of video to work with yet but it seems easy to work with, I had gotten a copy of...
I was planning on buying a Puffy anyway, so to win one would be a bonus!!
I am currently wearing some first lite stuff in the fusion pattern and I usually like to mix camo patterns and the darker colors of this would blend even better on those shadowy days, which would be when I would likely...
Well, I tried this last year and well vehicle mechanical issues killed that plan. Did get out solo and got into a bull with a bunch of cows but being solo reduced my options a bit. Ended doing some scouting of some other areas and found a couple of options.
Elk hunting with a bow is my...
I actually use 20,30 and 40 but my sight is movable and can adjust for higher yardage!
I practice out to 60 and figure that that is my max! Could probably shoot farther but figure that's what a rifle is for!
Your gonna find that 10 yard increments will be sufficient. The pins will be to close to make 25, 35 etc. worth having. At 25 yards both your 20 and 30 will be on the animal. Of course this is if your shooting a modern compound??
Steve O and Trial53,
I was thinking the same thing as far as Garmin coming out with a good GPS that would communicate with home, and if they added a descent 20mp camera, all would be great!!
Well I downloaded the trial version of back-country Navigator, I'll check it out and see how my phone...
I stand corrected! Just went to the Backcountry Navigator site and did some reading!
Gonna look into this a little further!!
Still doesn't sound like the battery life is that great?
Cell phone will not work in the areas that I hunt(no service). But if your talking about using the cell phone along with the Delorme that may be an option? How well does that work, and what is the battery life like on the cell phone?
Does anyone use one of the etrex units? They seem to be the...
I am currently packing a rhino GPS and would like something lighter and I never use the radio function. I have been looking at all the Garmin line mainly the Oregon but wonder if that is even overkill? Really just want a basic GPS that has topo less all the bells and whistles. I am considering...
Seems like there should be a way to do this without a picture host-I've never needed one on other sites?
Have always posted directly from my computer??
I don't understand why a third party picture hosting is necessary. I have post pic's to alot of forums and never needed one, have always post directly from my computer. Here every time i try the pic comes across small.
Yeah, gonna go down the weekend after next to the Stanley area camping with the wife, gonna try and get a hike in and hopefully find something. Probably would have gone down there years ago if it weren't for the different zone tags!
Yeah, I just dropped $700 last week on a bunch of First Lite. Actually got a new rifle that I have been playing with as well and got my eye on one of those kill kits in the store! It's an illness!
I am really wanting to bowhunt the salmon region, if anyone is interested?
Gary
Hey All,
I was referred to this site from a gentleman over on the long range mag site mtnwrunner.
I am looking for someone to do some backpack hunting with.
I live in Athol Id. and all my current hunting partners either aren't willing or able to time wise or phyiscally.
I am interested in...
