These are new, and I believe xtratuf stopped making them in the USA back in 2011. I still run xtratufs (post 2011) fishing and for general messing around on the OP, and they remain my rubber boot of choice.
Pairing down some of my gear. I've got these boots, only used once or twice for yard work in Seattle. Save some money and get you some sweet boots! $70.
Model #22272G, size 10.
$20 - Llano QZ (small, dry earth). Took a spill an the wrist areas have a little "road rash". But for $20, it's a solid piece of wool.
$50 - Llano QZ (medium, fusion). Used, but quite good condition.
$20 - Brimmed Merino Beanie (pine). Very good condition.
Honestly I have found that a havalon (or something simlar) plus a small folding/fixed blade is what I like. I've tried dropping one, and relying only on one or the other, but at the end of the day I like what both offer.
I know you're headed down a different path, but for the sake of the search function: I have an EE prodigy (now known as the APEX). I like synthetic for a variety of reasons, and a quilt allows me to do that without a major weight penalty. I highly recommend.
