Anyone carry microspikes the first half of September in CO? I realize they're rarely necessary but as a just in case.

I'm going to say "no", because I don't even know what microspikes are. I certainly don't need them for elk and deer hunting in CO for any season........if I don't even know what they are.

I've never used any ever for hunting in 35 years. I'd have better use for snow shoes in the later seasons.

Good enough for me. We got snow and ice one day last year and I was just thinking how bad it would suck to be socked in for 3 days not hunting because the ground is to slick.
