No Barnes here. For my hunting, with the rifles I have on hand, conventional bullets are just fine. Easier to develop loads with to boot. I don't have to seat them a 1/16" off the lands to keep the preasure down either. Oh I tried to come over to Barnes, without going into a bunch of detail at this time, their customer service bites. The last few correspondences with good old Ty over at Barnes were less than productive. I guess they are doing well enough now that they don't have to take care of the occasional individual problem. That's fine I guess. Monolithic bullets aren't required by law yet,and there is always Hornady should I get the urge to go there again. Which brings to mind a question I'll ask in another thread so as not to high jack this one. If I can't kill all the game I pursue with my 300 Ultra. Loaded with 180gr to 200gr Partitions or AccuBonds. At ranges that I can comfortably call my maximum. i guess it's time to dig the bow out again. No offense to my fellow hunters that have had good luck with Barnes. You are all my brothers from another hollow, but Barnes pissed me off.
