Adding extra guys to Sitka tarp

I just got my new Sitka tarp. I had a chance to okay with it in the yard and I'd like to add one or to guy out loops along the middle crease.

Can I use patch material, silicone and some light webbing?

You're better sew them and put silnet on it.You can use grosgrain ribbon or cordura webbing or even a loop of paracord.
