All great advice here and you picked a bunch of good brands to start with. Any one of these set ups will get you going. I'm sure you will enjoy it!!

I want to thank all of yall for the advice and insight. Mr Robtattoo is sending me a 9ft TFO 5wt to start off with. I am looking at reels and plan to get one headed my way soon. With any luck I will be practiced up and ready to hook into a bluegill when they start bedding here soon.

Don't spend too much on a reel. I guarantee you'll break it eventually. Slip on a wet rock, fall and knock it on rocks. Drop it on pavement accidentally. Etc.

I've bought half a dozen of one kind of inexpensive reel so I can swap my spools easily.

That's a good idea.
