Best self video spot and stalk

Going to be doing some spot and stalk hunts, and would like to try to video some portions of the hunt. Is a go pro on your hat the best way to go? These will be archery hunts so the bow will block some no matter what. Any advise and suggestions appreciated.

I use a gopro quite often - use a strapped in helmet mount It's much more stable (image and camera stays in place) than just the straps on a cap/hat - I've tried a chest mount but it gets in the way of my draw with a bow. The only thing you want to make sure of is to get on the app on your phone - that when when you're setting it up you can make sure the camera is pointed correctly for your line of sight. Several times when looking at some of my shot video - the helmet had moved and I had a lot of blue sky video!
